Staff meet regularly to assess what steps LAS can take using strategic litigation, outreach, and partnerships to remedy situations impacting the communities we serve.   

The work of the Impact Litigation & Advocacy team includes:

• Filing class action lawsuits;
• Signing on to petitions and letters in support of issues impacting clients;
• Supporting legislation that improves our clients’ communities;
• Filing and joining Amicus Briefs; and
• Joining community groups and legal aid partnerships.
